I think I’m becoming as indecisive with my blog, as my one of my friends with his computer operating system… (lol)
I know that I said on my last blog (before I deleted all the posts) that it would be my final blog location. Low and behold I’ve moved again (no surprises there).
So I’m guessing you’re probably thinking “Why the hell did you move again?!?” – well there are several reasons actually.
- Firstly: I was getting tired of Blogger.com messing with my YouTube. Call it trivial, but its more complicated than just it being an annoyance. I’m currently doing a very large project for my job which requires me to be signed into YouTube, which for a very stupid reason signs me out of YouTube whenever I sign into my blogger account. Why? Because YouTube’s account system is now controlled by Google accounts – and as Blogger.com is also controlled by the same setup, whenever you sign out of one – it signs them all out. Messed up huh?
- Secondly: I like WordPress better. Blogger was just… weird to say the least. Making themes for it was a pain, and the fact there is little to none addon support for things like LifeStream – WordPress became the better choice.
- Thirdly (and last): I have a very large web server in which I pay for, which doesn’t get used a great deal except for random hosting here and there and my community forum.
I’m also going to be cutting out the coarse language in my posts. I had a discussion with someone in real life about something else, which ended up bringing coarse language into it – and how it is un-needed. Well I can agree with that, and I think I’ve had my fair share of ranting with profanities.
Anyway, I’m currently setting everything back up here (Themes, widgets etc). Keep checking back, or subscribe to the RSS/Atom feeds.
